Film poster colour scheme:

The main colours on many film poster magazines I found that relate to my genre include similar colours that I have also chosen. I decided to conform to the common conventions and house style that psychological thrillers contain. for example, the film posters are generally made up of dark, dull and gloomy colours, this is done to create mystery and suspense towards the audience, which is why I chose a similar colour scheme to existing film posters. Dark gloomy colours also relate to the setting as this genre is generally set in basements, graveyards, or abandoned warehouses. and is generally set in the evening or the night as it is more dangerous.
